Born in Astrakhan in 1946
1966-1972 - graduated from the painting department of the Repin Leningrad Academy of arts.
From 1975 - Member of the Union of artists of Russia
From 1995 - member of the Saint-Petersburg Academy of Contemporary Art
Rashid Dominov has participated in more than 200 exhibitions in Russia and abroad, 12 of them were author s exhibitions.
Rashid Dominov works are in numerous museums and private collections, including: State Russian museum, The Art Museum of Georgia, The State Museum of History of Saint-Petersburg, The Saint-Petersburg State Museum of Theatrical and Musical Art, Anna Akhmatova in Fontanny Dom, The State Museum of Political History of Russia, The State picture galleries of the cities: Astrakhan, Barnaul, Vologda, Khabarovsk, Tomsk, Volgograd, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk , Petrozavodsk
